hmm...everyone i gather is busy having their reunion...i always envy those who have BIG gatherings or...MULTIPLE reunion dinners....where u meet all ur relatives and catch up with them...elders gossip and younger play and gossip or smth...however..my family never had the tradition of being close knitted family...we only met once a year and NEVER have a WHOOLE family gathering..we just have them among our own families...and this year...with even more complications abt whose hse to go to since the head of the hse we usually go to has passed away last yr....the elders dont one to go to a junior's hse and blah blah...so all the more dispersed my family is gonna get...we're sooo bad that when i see my cousin on the street.i can confirm if its her.and i even forgot one of my cousin's name! IT WOULD BE uber COOL if i had a cousin who likes DBSK too....ahhaha!!
i for one...had mine ytd at coca..i have absolutely NO complaints abt the food...however....i realise that despite not many ppl there(surprisingly) the service is quite bad...there are a few staff at hand..but they just cant seem to rmb the complete order...like wanting a top up of tea/water/chili/soup...we gotta call them multiple times...and when it was near closing at arnd 9.30...they totally ignored us~! its like..they blatantly looked at us...and ignore us...gee! and there's more to say abt their pricing...it has increased by at least 10 dollars this yr...and CNY is no excuse coz last yr we went there for our reunion dinner too! AND despite the soup being nice and all...we had a serious case of dehydration when we reached home...i gulped down 2 whole glasses of cold water..!
today...tried new Korean recipes and my mum was my taster.lol.there were conflicting results...i liked the sesame ginger chicken better but she prefered the soup better.oh well...but i must say i enjoyed cooking the dishes though..and since its the first time i was really realllllyyy worried abt it...but it turned out well =D so this was our OTHER reunion dinner....just me and her.hahhaa.
what is ur favourite new year goodies? the oranges (small/normal size) or the pineapple tarts?love letters?prawn rolls? mine's definately gotta be the pineapple tarts...however the ones my mum bought this year isnt that great...last yr's one was better.i love the rolled one with soft melt in ur mouth buttery pastry. followed by the prawn rolls and mini oranges.i always LOVE the strips of indonesian prawn crackers my hse anually have for CNY aunty sharon can finish one WHOLE container in ONE day!
hmm...i better start on my hw now??? coz tmr would prolly be too busy...or too lazy...most likely the latter.LOL!
tah -tah!~
