Shim Changmin:Everyone has grown up and compared to the past, the way we think have changed. However, because we're together everyday, some of the changes are not immediately noticeable.For myself as well, when it comes to things pertaining to myself in interviews, I will suddenly realize the change. I guess everyone is like that, this is just a natural progression, I think it's a good thing.After entering this world (t/n: music industry), I could experience happiness and also hardship and pain that people from normal walks of life can never experience. So I always think that I'd like to change the bad into good things and no matter what it is, it should not hinder my progress forward. I'll continue to work hard like that.
Jung Yunho:For now, I still want to put in even more effort than I already have to do my best. No matter what happens, I will always hold myself responsible first and tell myself that I can't make myself detestable to everyone just because of my own shortcomings.This is a characteristic that stayed with me through childhood until now, and after becoming the leader of TVXQ, I wanted to (let us) become the best in everything, so that may have worn everyone down and sometimes I even found it hard to take a breather.The members also have very different characters so the ways of thinking are different, but at the end of the day, a leader was still necessary to take the lead. When I kept thinking like that, I became strict without being aware of it and because of that, I get anxious and frustrated over certain things.
Kim Jaejoong:At the end of 2006, we swept all the major awards in Korea. However, we came to Japan after that and a lot of people didn't know us and the stages where we performed didn't even have seating capacity and the microphones were wired. Also, when we were singing "O-Jung.Ban.Hap" we wanted to die at the atmosphere.After 4 years, now everyone has expectations towards us and we will continue to do our best and work hard until we reach the peak.
Kim Junsu:When someone is sad and you can accompany that person in crying and hurting, wouldn't you reduce that person's pain by half? Aside from himself, no one else can fully understand that person's pain. It may be impossible to share the pain, but because we share the same feelings, it feels as if the hurt and pain is halved.I don't know what the future holds, but knowing who will be there with me, it's good.
Park Yoochun:I still remember, it's because there were the members, fans and staff with me, that I wasn't lonely. I might have felt down sometimes and wanted to seal my heart when I performed onstage, so there were times when I didn't have confidence and felt scared.

These 5, who are people like that, fill their songs with passion when they sing and put in their feelings as well. Listening to the songs in the best album and the messages sent through these songs, my heart was deeply moved. Personally, they must have also been touched by the love that is portrayed through these songs. Thus, every song connects them to even more fans.A song is your heart. The song delivers the message of the heart. Fans who received these messages through their characters and their warm voices, till this day, are still the reason behind their success in achieving their dreams. “oh, but turtlenecks are different *laughs* I like people who matches turtlenecks. Like wearing a turtleneck,jeans and boots is good” Hmm maybe he likes the common things?
“Maybe, like marriage too, I want to get married as soon as I can! On a special day with my girlfriend I want to plan a surprise with my friends, or go on a drive date, I want to do something like that.
If its a drive date I like places with water and a night scene so I want to go somewhere like the beach,lake,or a river.It’s case by case if I pick where to go or if she picks. Sometimes maybe we can just walk to somewhere near….
It seems that he has his ideal date. It seems like we were able to see his personality alittle more. Weather it’s music or love he is always looking straight forward.
I don’t want to follow whats popular but I want to have confidence in myself.Relationships of course but I have strong desires to get married too!

I've had love at first sight twice. Once I like someone, I'm a committed guy. My date outfits are usually casual. I like being natural.
Yoochun says once he likes someone, he's a committed guy. 'Once I dated this girl who I approached so many times and I dater her for years. I've forgotten how relationships like that feels now' (laughs)
While joking around and talking like a little boy, once he stands in front of the camera, his expression becomes like an adult. His image when he debuted which was cute seems to have changed. 'In fall/winter I wear mouton boots (sheepskin boots) and in spring/summer I wear flip-flops. But sometimes I want to look cool so even though I don't have an appointment with anyone, I wear suit and drink coffee alone. Also I have 2 dogs do I take them on a walk in the park in my suits. One of my dogs, when it stands up its about 170cm tall so it's a hassle (laughs) These days I like shoes that match suits so I'm going to buy the shoes I wore today in the photo shoot!'

Sometimes it's good but on a date I like someting more casual. When I date a girl I want to travel alot and make lots of memories. So I want my girlfriend to wear something like a denim jeans with a black sweater with a colour stole. Something simple like that yet feminine. So in your private time, do you wear clothes like this? “Suits like this, I wear it once in a while when I go to a bar *laughs* but usually I wear casual clothes like jeans and boots. I like to not pick where to go and walk the streets I usually go to. On dates I actually want to just spend time together and go into an Izakaya we see”. Even though he is strict, inside the strictness you can see the human like wanting. Making it to the top in 5 years nothing has changed, even now.

"Usually at Ray photo shoots we wear clothes that are similar to usual Tohoshinki’s image but today it seems like its more of a work tune.
To Yunho fashion is “something that I can show my feelings naturally”.
“Usually I express [ I feel happy today! ] by using clothes *laughs*. Every year I sort of pick a theme for that year. Like short pants or hats. Right now it’s glasses. From thin frames to thick ones I have more than 50 collected. I have good eyes so there is no lens”.
What does fashionable Yunho want girls to wear?
“Something natural. I love checkered print so I want to have the same checkered print somewhere together with my girlfriend.
But if I like someone truly from my heart fashion doesnt really matter”.
Yunho thinks it’s an important step to really feel and understand that person before it becomes a relationship.
Even though it would take a while, he said “I will risk my life to protect her. When I get a girlfriend what I want to do no matter what is to sing only to her at our concert for my solo part”.

“Really? *laughs* Artists do show everything to everyone. In Tohoshinki’s songs too, not only me but it has the members pure parts in it. If it’s a recent song, you can probably feel the manliness *laughs*.So when listening to our best album I hope you listen to it like that”.
030410 From Best Selection To Romance, Junsu’s One By One Recount
Q: It’s been 5 years since you debuted in Japan. When everyone debuted, you were only slightly older than 20 years old, but now you are all adults. Now, the anticipated Best Selection 2010 is finally being released, could you each please talk about your heart’s “BEST OF BEST” song?
JS: I think it is Mirotic. Looking at it from the style aspect, this is a song that challenges one in many ways, looking at it from the results aspect, this is a song that matches TVXQ’s image well. Powerful & charismatic, many people regard this song as the most TVXQ-like song.
Q: Then, even though you yourself may not think it is the best, but if you had to choose a song for your loved one, what song would you choose?
JS: I would choose 明日は来るから(Asu Wa Kuru Kara; Because Tomorrow Will Come). Although TVXQ has sung many types of romantic songs before, this song uses a direct method to depict the idea of “I will protect you”, hence it is suitable for my loved one. I am also one who wants to protect whoever I love.. although other than in romance, there are other times when I also feel like protecting. (When being protected?) ^^
Q: Reminscing all the songs you’ve released till now, on the whole, what overall impression should it give? Your thoughts when Best Selection 2010 was released should have been different from how you felt when you released normal albums..
JS: Mmhmm, when releasing Best Selection, we made a concerted effort to choose the best songs, these should also be what many people want to hear. For this point, I am very happy.
Q: Everyone has improved in various aspects along with the songs. So from now on, we will enter the segment on “Being Manly Celebrities”. Firstly, what kind of person do each of you think you are? Please state some good and bad points.
JS: I have no good points ^^. Let’s just put it this way, I don’t think I have any. Others think it is my decision-making capability.. I basically belong to the category of people with positive personality, if it’s not meant to be, I will definitely give up. Flaws.. there seem to be none too. Just kidding. There’s a lot. One of them is that I really hate losing, even if it’s just a minor loss, I won’t admit it. Recently, however, I’ve matured slightly and will not be so immature. However, in men, hating to lose isn’t really a bad point!?
Q: Then what type are each of you when it comes to facing love?
JS: For me, two people are all. There must be enjoyment, as well as calmness, considering both parties. I myself, when in love, will undergo a major emotional change, I don’t know what it will be like in the future. So, it’s best not to think too much, Nature will lead the way.
Q: How do others want to protect girls?
JS: (If during a date, they meet gangsters) I will carry my girlfriend and run away! I will run away at full speed, I have full confidence at being able to escape!
